Polar Graph – modifying the axis labels?
isend
I made a Polar Graph (attached) but not sure how to modify the axis labels.
1) I want the numbers to be shifted a little to the left, away from the y-axis.
2) The "0" of the y-axis is behind the "180" of the angle coordinate, leaving a ghost image next to "180". I thus want to remove "0" from the y-axis.
How can I do this appropriately? Thank you.
In the Polar Graphs panel's Labels tab, make sure that the Radius Tick Labels has "Except Origin" checkbox checked. That'll remove the radius=0 value.
Use a Label Format that forces a trailing ".0" on the 1 to make the labels line up, I used "%3.1f". Adjust the Offset from Axis" to move the label away from the axis line.
You can position the 180 and other angle labels by adjusting "Offset from Axis" in the Angle Tick Labels section.
