Multi-peak

Hello,
I would like to know if its possible to add a function to the multipeak fitting package.
Thanks in advance,
Gabriel
I would also like to create a command to save the fitting coefficients and load them again if its necessary.
Thanks
The Multi-peak Fit 2 package does make it possible to add a peak shape or a baseline function. It isn't as easy as I wish it were, but it is possible. The help file for the package describes it:

DisplayHelpTopic "Adding Your Own Baseline Function"

With the latest version of Multi-peak Fit 2, you can re-visit a previous set by selecting it from the Start panel. So far, I haven't added the ability to load peaks form another set as the initial guess.

How can I acess the multi-peak fit 2 package? Do I need the lastest version of Igor?
How can I fit 2D data? Can I create my fitting functions?

If you have Igor 6.21 or later, pull down the Analysis menu and select Packages->Multipeak Fitting->Multipeak Fitting 2.

Nearly- you need 6.21 or later. We are shipping 6.22a, and that is a free update.

Multipeak Fit does not support multivariate fitting. If you wish to do a series of 1D fits to all the columns or rows of a matrix, it is possible with some effort to do it using functions that are part of the Multipeak Fit package. Igor itself supports multivariate fitting with little effort.

Yes. For regular fitting, it is quite easy. For Multipeak fitting, it is harder.
