Problem regarding Igor and Kiethley 2420

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have been using Keithley source meter 2400 with solar simulator for solar cell testing. We have recently purchased Keithley source meter 2420 and we have installed Igor s/w on it. With all the connections properly made the Keithley source meter 2420 with RS 232 and is showing s/w error shown below. Kindly guide us for the proper working of the s/w

Error in Procedure:readdata
VDTREAD/0=3 S1, S2, S3, S4, S5

Most likely your RS232 communication to the 2420 is not working at all. You should check the RS232 settings (baud rate, number of bits, etc.) on the 2420.
