I'm relatively new to IGOR so this question may seem a bit remedial. I need to make a wave from an existing wave that only has a portion of the data from the existing wave. Is there a command I can type in the command line if I know which points I want the wave to begin and end? If I plot the wave can I use the cursors as reference points for where the wave should begin and end? Thanks for any help you can provide!
The Duplicate operation can duplicate a section of a wave creating a new wave. You can use the Duplicate operation via the Data->Duplicate menu. The dialog supports using cursors.
