ESRF data format (.edf)

I don't know of a loader but I found this interesting link via Google:

Did you get anywhere with this?

If it is SAXS data then Peter Boesecke has a good description of the data format here:

Dear Chris,

do you have written anything by now. I have to read a edf-fluorescence file and would be interested to start already with some useful code.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I never did make any progress on importing the files into Igor. I only ever had the one batch of files from a test measurement & it wasn't worth the effort of writing a file loader. I think I ended up using something like either this:

or fit2D:
http://www.esrf.eu/computing/scientific/FIT2D/
to look at the files.
