I have recently had to do some back-and-forth iterations on printing a graph having pictures pasted into its default Draw layer. The problem was that the printed picture sizes and placements of the pasted PNGs were significantly different from the monitor display. This was an all-Igor situation, since the pictures were created within Igor. Assuming that the desired print graph parameters will match the screen size and aspect ratio, will it be possible to add in IP7 a "print preview" option to minimize this inconvenience? I'm presently using IP 6.31 on Win7.
Print preview really has to be implemented by the printer driver or by the operating system. This is because Igor can not reproduce conditions while printing other than by printing.
On Macintosh Apple has preview built in to the Print dialog. On Windows you may be able to use the Adobe PDF Printer driver or an equivalent but you might not get true WYSIWYG.

If you can send an experiment that illustrates the problem to WaveMetrics support we will investigate. Make sure to mention your OS and printer driver.
In the course of replying to Howard, I found that such problems of picture size and placement can be minimized or avoided by using the Print Graph --> Graph Scaling--> Same Size method. I had been using Fill Page.
