Advanced Excel Output

I am aware that you can use Save (with some flags) to export data as a tab-delimited data set. My question is: Is it possible to export data to individual worksheets of an Excel workbook?
The desired result my co-workers are asking for, is to have summary data on the first worksheet and then data for each individual sample on its own worksheet. I haven't seen anything like this on these forums so I'm not even sure if this is possible. Please let me know what you think.
I imagine that Excel is capable of importing a text file into a specific worksheet. To make this easy you would have to write an Excel macro that would load a folder full of text files, I guess.
