Regression force fit

Hi all,

I know how to do a basic curve fit but I would like to force fit it through (0,0). I've been playing around with different parameters under the coefficients tab but nothing is working. Am I looking for it in the wrong place? Help is much appreciated.

This is achieved by fixing the intercept of the line to zero. In the curve fitting dialog (analysis->curve fitting), go to the "Coefficients" tab, fill in an initial guess of zero for a, and check the "hold?" checkbox next to it.

The solution given by 741 will work if you're fitting a line, but you don't tell us what fitting function you're using. It may or may not be easy or even possible depending on the fitting function. What function are you using?

741, that was exactly what I needed because I am using a basic line fit.
