Making my own color index wave - How can I do it?
jendsmall
I'm a beginner IGOR6.1A user and I'm having some difficulty making an image plot look the way I want. I want to use a modified version of the RedWhiteBlue color bar such that I have more of the colorbar with white. I've attached an image of what my plot looks like with the reversed provided RedWhiteBlue colorbar.
I've made my own 2D waves before for simple color tables but it was always for things that could use the point-scaled colorbar system. This time I want and x/y wave that goes from -1 to 1 to specify which color is associate with which x value. When I make my own 100 row color index wave (with three columns, modified from the original RebWhiteBlue colorbar) it uses the 1-100 scaling instead of what I want. It makes the colorbar look like what I want but the rang eis wrong and my image is totally red (since all the values are less than 1).
How do I get an x/y column (-1 to 1 over 100 rows) to be associated with the 3 column color index wave I've made?
Thanks for your help in advance!
