Syntax Highlighting XOP and Notepad++
IgorRaven
However, I am starting to user Notepad++ regularly for other projects. The document map is something I am now very fond of. Has anyone been able to successfully use the syntax highlighting XOP with Notepad++? When I followed all of the directions, only numbers turn to blue. Nothing else works. Any ideas? I am using the latest Notepad++ (v6.5.2)
Thanks for any help,
Unfortunately I have no experience with notepad.
My uneducated guess would be that the syntax highlightning format of notepad++ has changed. You could try with a version of notepad++ from 2010 as that is the last release date of the syntaxcolor project.

I use notepad++ quite often for programming with Igor lately. I have created an updated version of the syntax highlighting definition with all the new stuff found in Igor 8, and attach the style file here. Maybe this will be of use for someone. If there are any remaining problems, I would be happy to know.
EDIT: Added code folding functionality. Note that notepad++ v7.8.6 (the latest version at the time of writing) seems to have a bug with code folding when the line ending characters are not in windows style (both carriage return and line feed).

To everybody stumbling over this thread, note that I do not post any new versions of the notepad++ syntax highlighter here. Instead navigate to the link provided by Thomas Braun. I have just updated the the highlighter to include new features of Igor 9.
