Accessing netCDF data in IGOR

Hi, 

I have some netCDF data that I need to investigate. I tried opening it using the HDF5 browser in IGOR but for some reason, I couldn't reach the tabulated data. Just want to check here that opening a netCDF file using the HDF5 browser was the right move, or if there is a better way to do this in IGOR. Kindly let me know.

I'm assuming you sure you have netCDF-4 (HDF5) files and not netCDF-3?

What version of Igor are you running? Since IP8 there has been a native netCDF-3 XOP, and since IP9 there is more support for netCDF-4 features.

Thanks, actually I don't know exactly how to check the netCDF file version in windows. Please advise. However, since the IGOR HDF5 browser took in the file without throwing any error, I'm assuming it is netCDF-4..? 

I have IGOR 8. Below is the screenshot of how the file is looking after uploading using the HDF5 browser in IGOR. How should I navigate from this point? Is it the load dataset functionality?

Yes, or load group which will load the whole file in your case.
