Converting a wave; numeric values to numeric range
greenriver
Hello,
I am searching a way to convert a numeric wave to a wave with numeric ranges and finally creat a box plot using the converted wave as a x axis. For example, wave0 is a numeric wave including random values from 0 to 100. I would change the numeric values in each row of wave0 to "0-10", "10-20", "20-30",.."90-100", which can thus be text or character. Finally, I aim to create a box plot using the converted wave as x wave.
Any help is very much welcomed.
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do. The Histogram operation might do what you need. The X scaling of the resulting wave could be used to find the bin ranges and then convert this to text

Sorry, for my late feedback. What I've been trying is creating a box plot using two numeric waves; one wave for x axis and the other one for y axis. For x axis, I would convert the numeric wave to the wave of numeric range which can be text or character wave. Histogra is for statistics of a wave.
