Attachments for private messages on IgorExchange

Dear all,
Would attachments for private messages be a useful feature, will they cause too much work to implement, or (not xor) will they be misused all the time?
I was missing this feature recently. Any opinions or maybe experiences?

We (WaveMetrics) are in the process of having all of our websites redesigned and merged into a more coherent web presence. Hopefully that means that what IgorExchange morphs into can have new features. All development on the site we have now has been frozen because of the redesign.

Glad to hear that revisions are under way. In the meantime, I would create a Dropbox or GDrive folder, put the files there, and send the URL.
