Problem with baseline subtraction

Hi all,

I want to apply a baseline on my data and then subtract to remove the background (no peak fitting ivolved). According to the manual there is an option called ''macros'' where you can do that. However, this option is de-activated on my interface and i do not know why. Any idea? I have a proper license for the software (not using demo). Thank you very much

In order for the Macros menu to have something useful in it, there must be procedure code that defines something useful.

Perhaps what you're looking for is Tech Note 20. Choose Help->Show Igor Pro Folder. In the Finder or Explorer window that results, navigate into Technical Notes->Igor Tech Notes. At least one of the variants of Tech Note 20 has the ability to identify background areas, and then subtract a baseline.
