Individual slider scale for each color in Rainbow color scheme
maniraj
I have good amount of angle resolved photoemission spectra which is 2D image. There are so many peak structure (wave link pattern all over the image with different peak intensity). Currently, I try to colour the image with different color scheme. To vary the minimum and maximum value, I am using "Color Table Control". Since it has only one slider each for minimum and maximum, it appears good for Grays, Red, Green, Bule color table to name few. But to distinguish different peak structure it would be nice to have few more slider, for example, in the case of Rainbow color table six independent minimum and maximum slider would allow to distinguish as many features as possible. Do we have any such option.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
With thanks,
Maniraj
I see this is an old topic but I was having similar problems so i thought I'd post something on the off chance it might help out someone else later.
From what I understand is that you want to use a colour slider through your data to quickly optimise the false colour.
Someone already wrote this procedure that I think can help you or others in a similar situation out.

Good Luck and I hope this is useful.
