Is it possible to analyze live background video using igor?

Hi.
I would like to use igor to analyze a video playing on the screen. It's actually a webcam feed, but it has to go to another program, which then displays the feed on the screen. Is it possible to use igor to essentially analyze a captured portion of the screen?

The analysis itself should be very simple, but I'm not sure if igor will ever be able to see it is the problem.
If you grab the images directly into IGOR you should be able to perform some analysis at video rates. Your options would be determined by the complexity of the analysis and the image resolution.

Grabbing images directly into IGOR requires that you have an XOP that supports the particular hardware that you are using.
