update Igor on MacOS without killing my UserProcedures?

Hi
I was using igor on PC and upgrade were painless
Is there a way to smoothly update igor on mac os without having to move around the user procedure files etc so that they don't get lost in the process ?
On the Mac, the User Procedures files are separate from the main folder, just as they are on Windows. I cannot remember if the Windows installer is "automatic" via an equivalent to Setup.exe. On the Mac, you have to drag an Igor Pro folder manually in to the Applications folder and REPLACE the old version of the folder. So, the upgrade is just about as painless, if not the same.

But if i understand correctly when you drag the new folder to applications the content of your previous UserProcedures is erased... instead of let as is on windows

You should be using "Igor Pro 6 User Files/User Procedures". For details execute:
