Thermocouple Calculator
A calculator for converting thermocouple emf to temperature and vice versa. Includes cold junction compensation and a panel interface to convert voltage waves to temperature.
From the commandline:
V2T(type, voltage)
where voltage is in volts, temperature in °C. Type is a string.
For example, to print the temperature measured by a type K thermocouple when the emf at a 0°C cold junction is 1 mV:
Print V2T("K", 1e-3)

First release as a project on IgorExchange. Older versions of this code have been available on the web for a long time. This version adds some thermocouple types and includes significantly cleaned up code. I've tested the code quite extensively, but you should verify for yourself that it works. Caveat emptor. |
