To whom it may concern,
I'm using Igor Pro 7 and I have noticed that in text annotation the position of characters in superscript is too high (way above the line), thus I would like to know if there is any solution.

You can tweak the position of characters using e.g. \x-20 or \y-20, where the number corresponds to an offset (in points??).
In your case try:
