Sparse markers menu with the "markers" plot option

Hi everyone,

I often compare several data sets on the same graph and plot one of them as markers (numerics vs experimental data).
The "Sparse Markers" menu only appears when I select the "Lines and markers" plot option. I think that it would be great that it also appears for the plot menu "Markers".

Right now, the way I found to plot sparse markers without any line linking them is to plot my data set as lines and markers and set the line in white color. There might be a better way but I have not found it yet.

Thank you in advance.
Jérôme
You can also set the line size to zero. That has the advantage that if the line crosses some colored feature (like a marker) it doesn't leave a white line there.

Thank you for your answer.

Since my post has been moved from the wish list section, may I conclude that you do not consider as a valid option to set the "sparse marker" menu inside the "markers" plot menu?

Using the "line and markers" menu and set the size of the line at zero is, in my opinion, a roundabout mean.

I moved it back; it *is* a wishlist item we should consider (and a "general" question, too).
