Have you ever opened an experiment file that someone saved on a monitor with a much larger area than yours (like a dual-monitor workspace for Asylum AFM that you want to process on a remote workstation)?
Sure, you can stack all of the active windows, but their aspect ratio is not preserved.
You might look at the ScreenSizer package. One solution is to request of the originator of the experiment that he/she put #include "ScreenSizer" as part of the main procedure for the experiment and then do a ScreenSizer#Save...WinCoords(...) command when the experiment closes. You can then try a ScreenSizer#Restore...Wincoords() with various flags to reposition the windows to your liking on the different monitor.
See the help file for further information.
(ps -- Scroll bars would not help if the experiment were opened on a Mac, but ScreenSizer would)
