file loader for Gatan dm3 files

To view electron microscope images from a Gatan TEM in Igor, I need to first convert the images from Gatan's .dm3 format to some more common format such as tiff or jpeg.

It would be nice if there was a way to have the dm3 images load directly into Igor, bypassing the manual image conversion process.
