Weird bug when trying to copy/paste graph from layout

Hi there,

I ran into a weird bug that is preventing me from appropriately copying graphs I've placed in layouts in IGOR. The following message appears in the command history when I press CTRL+C

BUG: OpenMFPicture: couldn't use default printer

When I try to paste the graph onto another application like PowerPoint, the resulting image is weirdly cropped.

I've tried restarting IGOR and my PC, as well as trying to copy and paste on a new IGOR instance and the problem persists. I'm running IGOR 8 on Windows 10.

Any suggestions?

You probably don't have a default printer selected. Open your Windows settings, select Devices, then Printers and Scanners. It is common these days to not have an actual printer connected to your computer. In that case, Microsoft Print to PDF is a good choice.
