Selected window crashes on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5
PepeMenendez
I have noticed that since updating to Sonoma 14.5, if I create or edit an Igor window such as a Graph or Notebook, the window crashes if the system goes to sleep without me having saved the experiment. Anybody seeing the same behavior? Any recommendation?
Unfortunately, I cannot help you with your problem, since I do not use a mac. But for such kinds of problems it is usually fastest to write the support an email, since such technical issues are rather very system specific. You also might want to add your system description then (go to Help => System Information). I assume you have the latest version of Igor (version 9.05). If you are adventurous, you could also try to use the latest nightly build and see if the problem goes away. Go to Help => Igor Pro Nightly Builds. Do this at your own risk, though.

This seems like an obvious OS bug, so I don't think there's anything we can do.
Enabling Autosave might help you avoid losing as much work if Igor does crash before you save the experiment. For more information, execute this on Igor's command line:
DisplayHelpTopic "Autosave"
Using the nightly build is worth a shot but I'd be surprised if it fixes this issue since the last nightly build for macOS was long before Sonoma was released.
