load all wave files save as tx
guye
I guess it's should be very easy to create by myself , but i am entirely new to igor and don't really plan to use it in the future, just need to export some files
any chance to get a small script to export all the ibw files in one dir to txt files?
Thanks
If you open an Igor experiment file in Igor and choose Data->Save->Save General Text, you should be able to select all the waves in that document and save them in a tab-delimited text file.
But when you say, "export all the ibw files in one dir" it's not completely clear whether you mean "in one directory on my hard drive" (from multiple .pxp files) or "in one Igor data folder in a single .pxp file". Perhaps you could clarify that.
Then the real question: why not just learn to use Igor? :)

"The Asylum Research AFM system software, based in IGOR Pro, is a powerful data acquisition and analysis program. The experiment data files are generated in the IGOR Binary Wave (.ibw) format. Now, an easy-to-use utility allows users to visually identify all their data files while browsing outside the IGOR environment.
Asylum Research has developed the Thumbnail Viewer Utility to graphically display scanned images and force plots as thumbnails and icons that represent the first data. These images, along with other critical data from the .ibw files can be viewed in Windows without the need to open them in IGOR. This utility allows users a unique way to visually differentiate, sort, search and organize their experiment data files. Now, all .ibw data files created with the software will be graphically unique."
