Interfacing IGOR Pro from MATLAB by turning Igor into an ActiveX server

This is a proof of feasibility that shows in a few examples, how Igor Pro can be turned into an ActiveX server and interfaced from Matlab.

For me it worked "out of the box". That means I hadn't prepare anything, neither on Igor's side, nor on Matlab's side, nor on the side of the OS.

My system configuration:
OS: Windows 7
IGOR Pro: 6.3.6.4
MATLAB: R2011b

NB: IgorExchange refused the Matlab-Skript to be attached as an m-file, so I zipped it. IgorAsActiveXServer.zip (940 bytes)
