html tags in listbox help

I have discovered - by accident - that html tags in a listbox help wave are properly rendered (Igor 8, 9, mac, big sur).
Is this a feature that can be expected to work under different OS?
I would expect that as long as we continue to use Qt (Igor 7+) that the html formatting will continue to work on both Mac and Win.
