Hidden Window Hook Functions?

ikrug
I have the problem that opening a certain data window in IGOR (p.e. a graph or an image) automatically performs a thresholding operation from the image processing package. The problem is that this operation can't be stopped by the user and hence automatically modifies the respective window / removes all the
curves in plots or thresholds an image, if opened. The issue is that the data are important and I don't want them changed before saving the file. So any help would be appreciated on the cause of this strange behavior and/or how to stop it.
Best wishes,
Ingo
