Graph update with Fit Function's Trace

Hi all,

I encounter the following problem:

whenever I fit my data using the "Quick Fit" option, the trace of the fit function is displayed on the actual graph; whereas when I use any of the functions from the "Curve Fitting..." option, the fit runs but I cannot see the trace from the fit on the graph. Do you have any explanation for that? In the past it was working just fine but recently it started not displaying the fit trace on the graph. Again, this is happening ONLY when I choose a function from the "Curve Fitting..." option OR whenever I create a user-defined function.

The fit curve is added to the top graph, and only if the top graph contains the data to be fit. QuickFit pretty much guarantees that since it looks at the top graph for data. But the Curve Fit dialog doesn't care if you have a graph as the top window, or if the top graph has your data in it, so it's easier to have a situation where the fit curve isn't added to the graph.

If that doesn't describe your situation, please give us some more details.
