I'm using Igor to generate plots and then copy and paste them into Illustrator for layout editing. I found a problem that every plot I pasted into Illustrator is with a CMYK color model, but what I want is RGB color model. How can I change this in Igor? I didn't make any changes regarding these stuff in Igor, and I'm using Igor Pro 6.3beta on Mac OS X 10.6.8.
(You don't say which graphics format you've set in the Export Graphics dialog, or which version of Illustrator you're using, so the following is general advice...)
Instead of copy and paste, use Igor's Save Graphics dialog for more control of the format. Try saving as EPS (in RGB mode) and opening or placing that file.
I also got good results opening an Igor PDF format file with Illustrator 10.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8: it opened the document as RGB Color mode.
