Cursor Position Error in Igor Procedure Editor under Win7

Hi,

Since I work on a new computer with Win7, the Igor Text Editor does something really strange. The cursor is displayed not exactly where it is. The vertical position of the cursor is correct. The horizontal position is somewhat too far left. The error in the horizontal position is zero on the left side of the line and increases towards the right side of the line. The increase depends on the number of capital letters in the line. As long as I use only lowcase characters, no error can be remarked. When I use several names with a lot of upcase characters like e.g. "DATA_MAX_VALUE" in one equation, the error sums up to an amount that makes typing a nightmare.

Has anyone an idea what I can change in the Win7 setup or in the Igor setup to be as happy with my Igor as ever before Win7?

What version of Igor are you using? I believe that this problem has been fixed if you are using the latest beta version (6.20B03). If you have any version of Igor 6 you can upgrade to the latest beta for free. Just choose the Help->Updates Igor menu item. You may need to upgrade to 6.12 first and then the beta if you're not already running 6.12.
