Converting from igor data file (mac) to malab (pc)

Just joined since I hope to find an answer. I already searched and found nil.

I have some old data (seismic data) from my old igor days when I was using a mac. Now I use a pc running matlab.

Is it possible to read these igor data files? I don't even know how they are written, i.e. the binary format.
The Igor binary file format is documented in Igor Tech Note TN003 and Igor Pro Tech Note PTN003. These are shipped with Igor.

I don't know if a Matlab reader exists.

You could get the demo of Igor Pro, load the files, export them as CSV or some other format. That might even remind you why you were using Igor instead of MatLab in the first place :-)
