Igor Pro 10 Beta Tester Signup

We are now accepting beta testers for Igor Pro 10. If you'd like access to the beta, submit the form below. The only requirement is that you have a valid Igor Pro 9 license. For Coursework licenses, only the owner of the license may be a beta tester.

Once you have been accepted as a beta tester, you will receive an email with information about how to download Igor Pro 10. We will start the beta program with a small number of beta testers so you may not receive an immediate response after submitting this form. We appreciate your patience.

If you're curious, here is a brief list of some of the new features in Igor Pro 10:

• Python support: Igor Pro is now capable of direct, bi-directional communication with the Python programming language
• Camera and hardware control: The new MMI XOP, which uses the popular Micro-Manager project, allows you to control a wide range of hardware such as scientific cameras, light-sources, shutters, filter-wheels, XY- and Z-axis stages, etc.
• Procedure window improvements: code folding, improved syntax highlighting and code completion, and Ctrl+click on a user-defined function name improve programming productivity
• Control panel layouts: Controls in a control panel can be anchored to new "layout guides", making it much easier to create control panels that handle resizing well

Igor Pro 10 requires Windows 10 or later and is 64-bit only.

All Igor Pro 9 licenses (new and upgrades) sold on or after January 1, 2025, will be eligible for a free upgrade to Igor Pro 10 when it's released.
